Home Remedy for Scabies

Scabies is skin disease caused by microscopic mites (scabies mites), the most common symptoms is itching, sore by scratching, rash, blisters in the webs between the fingers. This contagious skin disorder may occur by transmitting through sexual contact or skin contact. One may get scabies from clothes, bed linens, and tower. Scabies infestation appears when the female mite lays eggs into human’s skin. In couple of days, the larvae hatch and mature. This cycle is repeating every two weeks. You need to treat scabies appropriately or scabies may come back. There are home remedies to treat scabies very effective.

  • Skin lotions containing permethrin, lindane or crotamiton are the best medication to treat scabies.
  • Apply Neem and Turmeric, or tea tree oil cream or lotion on the affected skin caused by scabies. These herbals have been used by Indian for years to treat scabies.
  • Wash all the bed sheet, clothing, tower, and blanket to eliminate scabies spread.
  • Avoid physical contact with infected persons and their belongings such as clothes, beds, etc.
  • Apply extract juice of apricot leaves on the affected skin’s area.
  • Mix equal amount of juice of drumstick leaves with sesame oil, then boil them up until all the water is dry out, let it cool, apply them over infected skin.
  • Using Manuka oil, cream or soap to cure scabies very effective in first week of treatment.
